CHARLIE MORAN- BASS GUITAR, VOCALS

RIG: Peavey Cirrus 5-String Bass,410 David Eden Cabinet, Rack-Ampeg Pre-Amp powered by a DPI 1400 Peavey Amp.

Born in Gonzales La, July 15,1956. Presently residing in Walker, La. Married with children. Wife: Cathy (AKA Band Mom)

Musician since age 12. Played 1st official job at the Port Vincent Community Center. Played with many groups over the years including Southern Boogie Band, original member of Kenny Fife and The Bac Trac Band, The Mainline Band, Russell Walker and Bandera, Van Broussard and The Bayou Boogie Band, and now with a great dance band and great musicians and friends The Prime Time Express Band. I was influenced by my Dad who also played bass guitar.

Albany, La 1951 Single. Musican since age 8, played sax in the LSU Tiger Band 69-70. Bass with the Justin Wilson Orchestra 1980-81. Keyboardist with many local bands such as Dixie, the Billy Koepp Band, Crossfire, Rythym Kings, Flite, Bandera, and other projects too numerous to mention. My father was the Violin Player for the Hungarian Harvest Dance Band as well as a jazz player, so I grew up around music

Presently  living  in  Denham  Springs,  LA  -   Married  w/children!  -
Wife  Margaret
Musician  since  age  14  -  Played  with  several  bands  (The  Jacks,
The  Dantones, The  Jr.  Witnesses)  until  1962  then  joined  Van
Broussard  and  his  band  The  Hearts  which  became  The  Kidnappers  and
finally  The  Bayou  Bogie  Band.  Worked  with  The  Rythem  Kings  from
1985  to  1988  then  back  with  Van  Broussard.  Joined  Prime  Time
Express  in  2004  and  I  am  really  enjoying  the  guys  in  the  band
and  the  things  this  group  can  do.
